Class Levels
I offer 6 different levels of classes. These can be taken as group lessons, semi-private, or private lessons. Each level is a total of 8 lessons and you will receive a certificate upon completion. For private and semi-private lessons, you are welcome to show me what you already know and I will create lessons based on your needs.

Beginner 1
If you have never studied belly dance or any form of dance then this is the perfect place to start. You will learn basic posture, arm movements, chest movements, and hip movements. I use various combos to help practice the new moves we learn each week.
Beginner 2
If you have taken one or two belly dance classes or you have studied other forms of dance then this is the perfect place to start. I review many of the moves learned from Beginner 1 as well as add new moves. In this level you will learn a 2 minute drum solo routine.

Beginner 3
If you have taken a few belly dance classes then this might be the level for you. I review many of the moves learned from Beginner 1 and 2 as well as add new moves. We will also begin simple layering in this level. As in Beginner 2, you will gradually learn a 2 ~ 3 minute routine at this level.

Intermediate 1, 2, & 3
These classes are for those who have completed Beginner 3 with me, or have shown that they are familiar with all the movements taught in the beginner level courses. As with the beginner 2 and 3 classes, a new choreography will be taught at each level. Students will work on layering skills, performance skills, and improv skills.
